Self-perception of the family health status of students of the Technology in Pharmacy Regency program of the Llanos University

Objective: To determine the self-perception of the family health status that students of the Pharmacy Regency Technology program of the University of Los Llanos have in the academic period 2019-2. Materials and methods: Quantitative study, correlational descriptive. The population were the students of Technology of Regency in Pharmacy with a sample of 55 persons with ages between 15 and 30 years of age. A characterization instrument and the self-perception scale of family health status v.2 were applied; with a stratified random probabilistic sampling with proportional affixation. Results: The self-perception of the family health status of the students, obtained an average of 100.1 points in family health, which demonstrates a risk in the self[1]perception of the family health status. Conclusions: The investigation showed that students have an unfavorable social environment that influences family members, altering characteristics in the values of the individual and the well-being of the family group, therefore actions that enhance behaviors must be strengthened, behaviors and commitment to improve the family environment.
