Fatores determinantes da dor no ombro em mulheres donas de casa

Introdução: As tarefas domésticas têm sido atribuídas às mulheres a partir do seu papel de dona de casa, gerando sobrecarga física e mental e afetando seu bem-estar, o que se manifesta por dores em estruturas muito sensíveis como a articulação glenoumeral. Objetivo: Descrever os principais fatores associados à dor no ombro em donas de casa. Materiais e métodos: Estudo exploratório em duas fases: 1) revisão integrativa da literatura científica utilizando a metodologia de Whittemore e Knafl; e 2) delineamento e aplicação de um inquérito com variáveis derivadas da revisão da qual participaram 521 mulheres e cuja análise foi realizada com estatística descritiva e correlacional. Resultados: Foram revisados 24 artigos e identificados três temas associados ao desenvolvimento de dor no ombro: características sociodemográficas, características das tarefas domésticas e percepção da sobrecarga das tarefas domésticas. No componente descritivo, foram evidenciadas associações significativas entre dor e duração e frequência das tarefas domésticas (R≥0,658 sig. 0,000). Conclusão: Diversos estudos concordam que fatores como a frequência e a duração das tarefas domésticas são diretamente proporcionais à dor como sinal presuntivo de lesões no ombro, além da situação econômica e do número de pessoas com quem a pessoa vive. Os resultados sugerem que aspectos como trabalho colaborativo, autocuidado e planejamento eficiente de tarefas domésticas são áreas-chave de intervenção para promover o bem-estar das mulheres.
