Models of Organizational Management and Strategic Planning of Dental Clinics Specialized ODONTOSTUDIO Limitada

In the current context of globalization, companies must be at the forefront of organizational changes to improve productivity and competitiveness. The purpose of the applied research is to compare the results of the diagnostic matrix of the Modernization Model for the Management of Organizations (MMGO) with the results of the diagnostic matrix Weaknesses, Opportunities, Strength, Threats (DOFA) of the company providing of dental services, ODONTOSTUDIO Limitada of the city of Villavicencio. According to data from the Chamber of Commerce of Villavicencio (CCV, 2015) there are about (72) SME dental clinics registered, which require the realization of an organizational diagnosis, which allows them a real approach to the current situation of the companies. The research is descriptive and as a primary source of information the tool (MMGO) developed by the G3Pymes Research Group of the EAN University was applied; This diagnostic matrix is appropriate for SMEs and allows generating a more accurate analysis of the reality of the Colombian local context. Regarding the analysis of the DOFA matrices defined by the company and that obtained from the model (MMGO), it is observed that there is a strong relationship between each of the components contemplated for each category of analysis. On the one hand, human management and strategic planning are determined as positive aspects; and as negative, the low working capital that limits the leverage of investments in equipment renewal and the transfer of knowledge in new procedures.
