The GEON Journal of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Universidad de los Llanos was born with the purpose of making academic publications of a scientific nature related to management, organizations and business. The GEON journal publishes scientific information oriented to management, organizations and businesses as a contribution to research and development in the objectives of sustainable development, especially the SDG 8 decent work and economic growth. This collection is financed by the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Universidad de los Llanos.

Target audiences

Our academic community is made up of ´ professors, graduates, students and other professionals who seek to share their scientific production from their research and academic experiences through quality scientific articles according to Management, organizations, Businesses and established themes.

 

Mission

The GEON journal is a non-profit scientific publication that promotes the exchange of knowledge and improvement of the dissemination of research works with emphasis on the areas of management, organizations and business; contributing to the formation of reflection spaces of the academic community, thanks to the research development in these areas that result in the generation of new knowledge, taking as reference the global business reality.

Vision

By 2025, GEON magazine is projected to be a reference of scientific sources at a national and international level, characterized by the quality and transparency of its scientific publications, providing greater support and security to those who are interested in publishing and acquiring new knowledge.

Objectives

  • Promote the exchange of knowledge with emphasis on the areas of management, organizations and business of companies in Latin America and the world.
  • Stimulate research development in the fields of management, organizations and business at a Latin American and global level.
  • Contribute to the generation of new knowledge through the publication of original articles, results of scientific and technological researches, reflection and bibliographic review.

 

Scope of the GEON Journal.

GEON Journal is a scientific publication that promotes the exchange of knowledge, with emphasis on the areas of management, organizations and business; for this, it takes as a reference the global business reality, especially that of Latin America. It is based on the quality of scientific production, publishes original articles, results of research projects, reflection, bibliographic reviews, case report and editorial under the guidelines of journal publications adopting the APA reference system (American Psychological Association). It welcomes the good practices of the Committee on Ethics in Publication (COPE, for its acronym in English Committee on Publication Ethics), is published every six months January-June, July-December and circulated since 2014, under the seal and sponsorship of the University de los Llanos, in electronic format in Open Access. It disseminates its work in the Spanish and English languages ??and is aimed at the community of researchers, teachers, students, entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs who deal with the Social Sciences, Economics and Business knowledge area.
