CARACTERÍSTICAS Y DEMANDAS ADMINISTRATIVAS DE LAS ORGANIZACIONES DEPORTIVAS DEL MUNICIPIO DE MEDELLÍN

Abstract

This article is the result of the research “The professional profile of the physical educator in sports administration, in the light of sports organizations Municipality of Medellín - Antioquia” developed by the University of Antioquia in partnership with the University of San Buenaventura. It presents the results of a phase of the research concerning to features and administrative claims that sports organizations have in relation to the professional performance in the field of sports administration. A questionnaire to 142 leaders of clubs, leagues and sports entities selected from a stratified probability sampling technique was applied. The information was systematized and analyzed in Excel. It was found that sports leaders are professionals in various areas of study with scant posgradual training, especially at master’s and doctorate. Organizational structures are shortsighted related to operational tasks to dayto- day.
