The arrival to the third age has always generated fear and uncertainty in the majority of people, at this stage of life are generated physical, psychological, emotional and other changes, the body deteriorates and gradually loses functionality, for these reasons many older adults come to specialized sites like the son of geriatric homes, where they are given the necessary care for their daily lives. The present research was carried out in the home for the elderly San José de Saramita, where there is a division and invisible border between the two populations in this home, (severe and moderate), activities were conducted directed to the moderate people, avoiding the socialization among all the people of this home. For this reason the research interest arose to generate strategies of integration and participation through physical activity. This research is part of the hermeneutical historical paradigm, with a qualitative approach and uses as collection tools: observation, interview, field diary and photography, the tools that allowed to evidence the development of the research carried out, for the collection and analysis of information.
